2 vols containing portraits of the graduating students as well as faculty. Blind ruled embossed morocco with recessed panel for stylized "Yale" to front covers. Yale seal appears on rear recess. Last leaf in vol. 1 of students portrays an Asian graduate (Yale's first) but (unlike his peers) without any name; being simply identified as "Jap." Last four leaves in vol. 2 portray African-American workers employed in the institution with separate pages (& photographs) for each: Carter Wright, apparently keeper of the keys; Mr. Allston, depicted with broom and other cleaning apparatus; a handsome Joseph George "Hannibal," a dispenser of Turkish Caramels (represented with an empty basket), and finally the blind Theodore Ferris "Candy Sam" portrayed with a large suitcase captioned Yale Confectionery. Lacks one clasp, otherwise a superb set. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall
